Members

Active membership shall be open to nurses who are currently registered as Nurse Practitioners with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) pursuant to The Registered Nurses Act, 1988 and have a commitment to the advancement of the nurse practitioner role.

Privileges of Active Membership include:

  • right to vote;
  • right to hold office;
  • right to represent the association as elected or appointed by the Provincial Executive.

Associate membership shall be open to any individual or group with a commitment to the advancement of the Nurse Practitioner role. Membership is accepted through payment of the SANP Associate Membership fee.

Privileges of Associate Membership include:

  • right to receive SANP publications and communications, with the exception of members' personal information;
  • right to speak at membership meetings.

Student membership shall be open to any student currently pursuing Nurse Practitioner education. Privileges will be the same as associate membership. Membership will require proof of registration in Nurse Practitioner education program.

Privileges of Student Membership include:

  • right to receive SANP publications and communications, with the exception of members' personal information;
  • right to speak at membership meetings;
  • reduced fees at all SANP sponsored education events.
